Provider training and legal assistance at the Boston Medical Center inspired both internal change within the hospital system and revision of the state’s shut-off protection regulations.

Rx for Hunger: Affordable Housing

This report details the impact of subsidized housing access on the health of very young children, revealing that subsidized housing protects young children from food insecurity and the health risks of being seriously underweight. It concludes with a series of recommendations for policymakers at the city and state levels. Co-authored with Children’s HealthWatch.
